First of all before you think to start a life changing system, business venture or product creation it’s very important to get crystal clear on your why. Why do you want to start this system, business or create this product? This is the number one question you need to think first. Your ‘why’ then becomes your driving force and must be at the forefront of your mind with every decision you make. This will help you stay on your path, stop overwhelm and keep you aligned to your purpose in life.
1. Have an epic opt in
In order to have an online business you need people to sell your products and services to because if you don’t have an email database you don’t have anyone to sell to. Create an epic opt in where you are giving something away for free when they sign up. This is a great way to capture people and be of service at the same time.
2. Be authentic.
The best way to grow your life changing system, business or product is to be authentic. Vulnerability makes people lean in. We live in a time where the internet and social media allow us to only put up our highlight reels disregarding the other stuff we go through in life. By being authentic you become relatable which then results in building connection and community.
3. Give, Give, Give.
Don’t hold back or save your best content for a later date. Give and give from your heart. If you want to grow your business and build a community you have got to give 100% in everything you put out. This could be a helpful social media post or tip, blog posts, launching amazing free products, awesome newsletters, videos, audios, podcasts etc. It doesn’t matter what form of communication you decide to use, all that matters is that you are giving from your heart and being truly helpful to others.
4. Treat your tribe like gold.
Whether you have 10 or 10,000 people on your list treat those people like gold. They have taken the time to sign up and they trust you enough with
their email. They want to hear from you and it’s your responsibility to treat all 10 or 10,000 people like gold. Don’t have small list shame. Instead do you best to over deliver and make a difference to people’s lives, that’s how you will grow your business.
5. Leverage.
In order to grow you need the right support team in place to help you make that happen. I am a recovering control freak and having people in my business was a big step for me, however I knew deep down that in order for me to grow to the next level I needed leverage. Hire people in who can do the stuff you don’t love doing. This then frees you up and allows you the time, space and energy to focus on what you are best at and truly thinking about vacations.
6. Good systems.
Like leverage, good life changing systems are imperative in order for your
business to run smoothly and create space for growth. Work out what your business needs then implement it to allow the space for your business to grow.
